Andrew Dmitrenko was born in Kiev. (1969) He graduated from The State Art High School in 1987. In 2013 he completed The State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin in St. Petersburg. He is a member of the Union of Artists and has participated in more than 30 exhibitions in various countries.

Dmitrenko was born in a family of artists. Ever since childhood, he was surrounded by art, music, art books and paintings. What interests him is the beauty of this world, in any manifestation; be it an unusual shade of the sky or a reflection of a people in a shop window. This perfection is what he strives to achieve on the canvas.

Being educated in one of the oldest art academies in the world contributed significantly to Dmitrenko’s skills in creating realistic art. Realism claims that life itself is the pinnacle of beauty. The classical technique of oil painting on canvas allows for the creation of complex, realistic paintings with carefully worked out details, which accurately express the artist's intention. Plots of personal experiences are not reduced to simplification, but, on the contrary, reveal the universal human meaning of private moments. Bypassing entire eras, realism makes it possible to speak the same language with future generations.
